Extremely Rare One Half Pd. Cut Plug HBC Tobacco Tin
5”H x 3”W. This is one of the hardest lithographed tins to find. There are graphics on all five sides and the tin is in great condition. HBC Coat of Arms is on the lid and on the sides are an HBC steamer and the HBC headquarters in Winnipeg. Canada. To make this tin even rarer, the paper seal at the top is complete and dated 1915. Would be a noted star in any collection.

Hudson Bay Company Ink Ceramic Jug
18 ½” T x 9 ¼” W. The rarest of the rare! Only two known to exist. The other one is in the Hudson Bay Museum in Winnipeg, Canada. Marked “HB Co. 3” (gal). Bristol Glaze. Made in England circa 1850-1880. Not many were brought over because of weight, size and breakability. Their purpose was to bring over ink. Cork top plug is the original. Excellent Condition.

Hudson Bay 1670 Brand Scotch Whiskey – A Blend
Height 10 ¾” x 3 ½” dia. This is an unopened bottle of Scotch whiskey produced and bottled in Edinburgh, Scotland and was imported to the U.S. by Old Rose Distributing Co., Chicago, IL. Smaller label on front shows “King Charles II Granting the Company’s Royal Charter 2nd May 1670”. (HBC). Revenue paper seal and gold foil over lid are both unbroken. Imported around 1950. One could assume this is a well-aged bottle of whiskey!

Height 7” x 5 ½” W. Fabulous images and narrative that tells the story of HBC from 1668 to 1860. Hinged lid with colorful Coat of Arms. The four largest sides include images and narrative of the ship “Nonesuch” in 1670, founder of the first inland Post Samuel Hearne in 1771, union of Hudson Bay Co. and Northwest Co. in Fort William in 1821 and governor of Rupert’s Land, George Simpson 1820-1860. The importer here is “Old Rose Distributing”, Chicago, Illinois. Cork is in the bottom of the bottle. The stand and bottle commands attention, a great addition to any collection. Hudson Bay Company “Xmas Hamper”
Height 7 ¼” x 17” L x 19” W. These wooden green boxes were given to Hudson Bay Outpost employees as Christmas bonus/gift filled with jelly, etc. Box was then used as a “hamper” for their usual one set of clothes stored under their bed. Also marked on the box “Winnipeg” where they were made throughout the late 1700’s and 1800’s. Very rare and hard to find. Letters painted on with stencil (white). Hardware all original and box in very good condition for its age.

Sheared Beaver Top Hat in Decorative Leather Hat Box
Height 10 ½” x 14” W x 12 ½” Deep. This is a very attractive all leather hat box with tooling, leather braid and brass hardware. Most likely this was a special order for a wealthy client by the name of J.W. Doriss, which is printed on the bottom of the box. Inside the lid of hat are the letters “JWD” cut out of brass plate with maker’s stamp above. (Blaylock & Blynn). The hat and box are in excellent condition except the two leather straps are broken where they attach top metal buckles. The demand for sheared beaver, such as this hat, is what brought the World to the West!

Height 7” x 11 ½” depth. Very striking! German silver band fully circles hat. Blue and yellow fabric anchors yellow feathers (real). Red fabric lies beneath silver band. Very Old Finger Woven Sash in Fabulous Condition
Entire length is 136” long by 5” wide. Each end has 30” twisted fringe. Almost impossible to find this very early sash in this condition. This one is made of linen by the Herons probably for trade with the French Voyageurs or the Hudson Bay trappers. The red is Cochineal, green is Indigo.
